There's too many issues with lighting and shadow. In the Lamp picture and even in the full picture the "legs" always looked a little off, which made the Lamp more believable...

But then it could just be my brain refusing to accept.

Maybe you're right. The butt is kind of flat.

In this Image I've pointed out some of the shadow issues I was referring to

Have a look at the two top most green ones, and see the drop shadow cast by her body and arm? But this no corresponding shadow cast by her leg. In fact as shown by the blue ones (on the lamp image) the shadows on her legs appear to be cast by the 'lamp' itself.

The blue ones on the woman show anomalous drop shadows on the red box, one of which obscure the tattoo from being clearly seen.

And Pyraxis is correct the buttocks do appear strangely flat, having little or no definition to them, and no cast shadows as would be expected. The only shadow from the buttocks may be seen as indicated by the lower most blue one.

Wow, that was the image I've (publicly) pulled apart on photoshop before :)

I think they must have 'shopped the lamp between her legs. You're right there should be a drop shadow in one of those circled blue areas to match the ones by the arms. And that black circle in her pelvis just doesn't make sense in the context of a girl leaning against a light table (or whatever that thing is).

Ugh. I do this crap all day at work, I can't believe I gave it the benefit of the doubt to begin with.

Yeah...the more I think about it and the more I study the image, like how you can see that her back is arched through the muscles occluding the spine, but you can't see how far the thong goes into her arse cheeks... I think I'm going to call it on this one.

Fake. Sorry parts :(

I actually studied the original lamp image when I first came by it, so when I saw this image my brain didn't automatically assume occam's razor as it's want to do, but instead rejected the woman theory.
