This man's name is Manuel Uribe and he lives in Mexico.  He has lost a lot of weight on a special diet, even though he is still bedridden.  I fail to see what Calandale finds funny about him.  Here is an article about Manuel Uribe:

I don't know that sanity is in play but you would think that something could be done before it goes this far.

Not really funny, though.

I sometimes watch enormous people and their expressions are so fitting. Of course it hurts to be that way and it hurts to move at all.

I have also known some medium fat people who were the strongest people I have ever seen. Yeah I can do about forty push-ups, but if I weighed four hundred pounds and I could get to my feet, I would call that a victory. Then to see them almost move normally is an awe-inspiring thing.

I wonder what this guy's half-ton problem really is.

He eats constantly and lies around in bed all day.   Probably has an enabler that feeds him in bed.  I know a guy from AA that did that.   He went from alcoholism to food addiction.   I laughed at him because it was predictable.   I guess I don't like food that much.   I don't eat as much as the rest of the fatasses I know around here.   Does this even happen in Europe?   You don't see this in Africa or anywhere poor.   It is just here in the US for the most part (and with Sumo wrestlers in Japan to some extent).   I don't care how strong they are, it is fucked up and disgusting.   Obesity here is out of fucking control.   People need to wake the fuck up and stop making excuses for it.

I don't see it happening this generation.   Hopefully people will wake up and stop being such wasteful greedy fucks with food.   It is pure gluttony.  Japan oddly enough throws away more food per capita than any nation.   It is just as bad as people who abuse drugs all of their lives and expect people to not laugh at them for the health complications that come with said abuse.   As a drug abuser I laugh at people who can't just limit their usage to one drug like marajuana.   My friend Garrett, is addicted to oxycotin.   I joke about it, even knowing fully how dangerous it can be for him to be addicted to it.   I told him not to mess with the stuff.   My brother's ex-girlfriend's stepdad killed himself due to oxycotins and same goes for someone I knew in the last drug rehab I was in.
