Not necessarily. If it doesn't feel right to tell them, then don't...you aren't ready to do it. When you feel strong and able to deal with a bad / negative response then you should do it.

Did you get out for a walk with Lily today?

Getting upright and moving may help.

Would not be surprised if your neck is letting you know now that staying in bed too long is not the best idea of all.
Lecture did help you too the other day. Get up and take a small walk Soph. It may really help.
