Laughing with this scene in my head:

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — A Cheyenne man who doused himself with white latex paint in hopes of avoiding a police Taser was hit with the stun gun anyway.

The Taser chase happened Sept. 16, when Cheyenne police went to Brian Mattert's house on a domestic violence call.

The Wyoming Tribune Eagle reports that when police arrived, Mattert thought they'd use a Taser on him, so he hastily covered himself in paint and told officers that if they shot him with the stun gun, he'd die.

Officers told him the paint wouldn't affect the Taser's capability. According to police, Mattert scuffled with officers and was hit with a Taser twice before officers handcuffed him.

He faces several criminal charges. Police say the officers' uniforms had to be cleaned.

How much more taxing would the management job be? Would you be able to delegate stuff to make it a bit easier?  :chin:

That's good new, though, right?

Congrats if it is.

Before I answer, I must ask, "What if there was no staff?"

We had one dipshit quit last night at closing time, two "established"  employees called in sick. Another no-showed and one had to be two hours late. In retail the staff is minimal to begine with, but having to start four or five bodies short means that there is no one to delegate shit to.

It always falls to the ones who still struggle to keep their jobs to muster through each day.  I do not want to be the mustard, which might rhyme with "my used up bastard" with a little imagination.

I think you'd be a great manager, though.

If it really dreads you DD. And if you think it will cost you way too much to excel in it, then doubting to accept the offer is a very wise thing.

You would make an outstanding manager I think, because you have the need to do your job very well. But, the costs are there. How will it affect you when you are not at work? How long will it take to unwind? How much freedom will you have, compared to the job you have now?

Yes, 3x a day as ordered, and I use Neosporin on my dressings. Two things come to mind: The splint I got at the orthopedic appointment
is a boxy metal one that pinches, and it is wrapped with super-absorbent first aid tape (very much like crepe paper). The first splint I had
was a plastic helmet that covered the gauze pretty well to keep it dry, and did NOT squeeze my nail bed! Tomorrow I intend to ask about
returning to the original splint.  :viking:
