Sympathising with Les about the admin thing. The skilled-trades guys at one place I worked were always complaining that they spent more time documenting their work than they spent performing it.

Which means that either the documentation process is wrong or the selling process is wrong.

Or they just really don't want to doccument their work. You know, time flies when you're having fun, the opposite when you're not.

I always thought they were out of their cotton-pickin' minds to prefer mucking around with dusty wiring harnesses or greasy pipes over filling out timesheets, but there's no accounting for some people's taste. :)

I'd prefer to work with my hands rather than doing paperwork. Writing hurts my hands.

Me too.  I'm sore and tired from work and  that means a good sleep tonight paperwork gives me headaches

Like crap. The germs that have invaded me are at war with my immune system and so far it's flu germs = 1 Immune system = 0.
