Thanks :) It's ridiculous to feel this abandoned I guess.  Plus about 2 weeks ago we even discussed this and she said that no way are they going to date.  That's what she said last time too  ::)  I wish someone loved me.

Although well meaning, you know this sounds like something your parents, or well meaning friend would say.... :angel:

When really, when something like this happens, and you feel like SHITTOLA... :'(

nothing much helps. Although I know you are trying to help out.

That intense feeling of telling yourself 'everyone has been through something like this and I can get through this too'....just sometimes doesn't help. When your heart is breaking, it's just breaking....and it shatters to a million pieces before your eyes and even you have no control to stop it....even though you know the feeling will pass, at the time, it just has to shatter.

At that moment, when you just feel like shit...you just have to go through the motions of feeling like shit....and it feels like you are the only one. And there is no escaping it. :(

Oh...I didn't mean it like that....but you know the feeling, right? Sometimes you just want to wallow in a bit of...'fuck, no one could feel as bad as I do right now'.

Strangely, I was a counsellor once years ago for people with depression...and before that, victims of crime...

then everyone just shit me off, 'cos they never wanted to DO anything about it....just moan....FOREVER.

Well some, not all...but you get what I mean.

I got your meaning Eclair and wasn't taking offense or anything, I made a factually accurate statement but it is not likely to make Gus feel any better for the reasons you stated. I thought about volunteer work for a suicide hotline after being too fucking close to someones self destruction once but couldn't get off my ass to do anything. That is the only time I was ever close to counseling. When I tutored math in College I had one guy in particular who drove me nuts by taking up my time and not appreciating that the need for it was spelled out in his prerequisites.

Yes, if everyone could feel our thoughts the exact moment we have them, instead of us trying, floundering, to communicate them in a humanly way....that would make life a whole lot easier!

But alas, not to be....we have to wade our way through 'what to say...and what not to say'....the ongoing dilemma.
