I feel that if I could just undo one thing, then maybe my life would have not ended the way it is now.  I thought I was over this in Poland and then when I returned.  Except I've been numbing it all by just being out of control.  I guess I have a bad case of "what if"

This may be factually correct, but that doesn't necessarily mean that you'd be better off.  You have absolutely no way of knowing 100% that you'd be in a better situation had you acted differently.  You're just imagining things.  Don't bother with what ifs, they're a waste of your life.

I know for a fact, that I would still have a best friend and that I would have stayed on in college at my old school instead of taking off to Poland.

Guess there's nothing I can do about it now  ::)

Your best friend could have ended up backstabbing you, you could have ended up hating what you studied in college, etc.etc.etc.  There are endless possibilities of bullshit that could happen either way.  Life is full of bullshit, no matter what you do.  There's also good stuff in there, too.

I always thought it would be kinda cool to know all the secrets of the universe and the world.. to know everything.. that is, everything except what people are thinking and what goes inside their fucked up heads.
