Posting your real e-mail address anywhere
is FAR stupider than allowing someone to
see your IP.

In fact, e-mailing people with your real address is
a risk, right off - such packets can be sniffed, you
know. Unlikely as hell that they're encrypted.

I can't think of a way, without violating the core principle.
Everything EXCEPT the IP, you can hide yourself. But, without
paying, and writing a mod for SMF (which would emasculate
the defenses), I can see no way to make it safer than every
other web page in existence.  ::)
