I have had thoughts similar to this.  The human mind creates its own reality whose to say it doesn't split off  into it's own universes where it is real he is a character with a personality background and a live of his own, no less real that all those other people on the net that appear as pixels on my screen .

memories are as real to me whether they be of dreams or fiction or what happened to me... i can't always tell which is what.
