I do believe winter can have a depressant effect on people. I am just not one of those. It is summer here and I am depressed.

summer makes me worse i think. but that's just because it has physical effects on me which i dont like (headaches and stuff). other than that it doesn't affect me much which i'm glad of. autumn used to be my favourite season, but this one has been shit. and summer was actually good for me in some ways this year. weird.

I hear you, I'm thankful that I have never been a person who's had to deal with REAL depression.  I'v always been more the cranky, irritable, "kissmyass" type of seasonal affective disorder type person.  Especially since the fall and winter is when I have had my most dysfunctional interactions with my biological family.  I am a major brooder and dweller upon wrongs type of guy, but, my main desire is to show the world and my family/peers that they can go fuck themselves as to what they think of me. :finger:  Rage does have it's advantages, suicide would just add to my enemies pleasure! :evillaugh:

And fwiw, fall is MY time, end of tourist season, the smell of the earth while raking, the color chages of the leaves and the peace and quiet that I so crave, make fall (despite my family) a time of pleasure for me!! 8)
