I don't really know WHAT to think.
The kid was pretty fucked up, if this
is what sent her over. I suspect that
there's more. If not, she probably wasn't

I think that the woman who perpetrated the hoax probably used her experience of being a teenager and everything else she had learned in the time since then to bully the girl in a way that only a middle aged woman could. She probably said just the right things to damage her the most. Of course, she might have done it anyway, eventually, but it's still scary that there are people like this out there in the suburbs, somewhere. In some ways, they are a lot scarier than the inner city.

People are scary in general and they are everywhere.  Sure there must have been other things going on but this is fucked up but if guys are arranging to hook up with ten year olds online you have to expect stuff like this too.  This time they found out how many others just slip through unnoticed.  It's a dangerous world we live in it was before the internet and still is now.

Shortly before Megan’s death, the Meiers had agreed to store a foosball table the Drews had bought as a Christmas surprise for their children. When the Meiers learned about the MySpace hoax, they attacked the table with a sledgehammer and an ax, Ms. Meier said, and threw the pieces onto the Drews’ driveway.

Worried about their fucking foosball table?  They're lucky that's all that got attacked.  Instead of putting the remains of it in the driveway, the Meyers should have used it for kindling to set the Drews' house on fire in the pre-dawn hours.

For some reason, this doesn't surprise me in the least about suburban SUV jockeys.  Many of them probably got where they are in the world by sticking it to others.

That would be me, but thankfully I am capable of controlling my behavior.  I have attained a level of skill so great, I don't need meds.  You can grow also, at least with a reduction of your current medication treatment.  I have a destiny, to help, not to hurt, perhaps that is why I can controll such difficult problems.  Perhaps I am supposed to take this experience with me to help others in need.

What Lori did was sick. Messing with a minor and lying to her and telling her the world be better without her. She should be charged for murder, manslaughter be better if she didn't know Megan would kill herself after that message, for the cause of her death. For god's sake she was just a child and a grownup hoaxing her, despicable.

I thought it was immature when Megan's parents attacked the Drews' foosball table but so what. What the Drews did to them was worse.
