I was a professional chef for a number of years working through college.  Worked at DisneyWorld at the Yachtsman Steakhouse at the Yacht and Beach Club Resort.  Before that I worked my way through High School at a local resort hotel in my hometown of Silverdale, Washington.

Cool. Worked in rest. kitchens as well earlier. But.. way too stressful for my liking. Shame, in a way.

And they're like family-members (or shared genus really.. endive and witlof, I mean). Might be folks in the US hardly eat it. Dunno.

Oatmeal and peanut butter for b'fast
dried fruits and nuts mix for lunch nosh
red beans, rice, sausage, lettuce salad for dinner

I fried a hamburger patty (generic-brand "Black Angus" bacon and cheddar) along with some onion.

I don't remember eating a better burger.

I had a chicken mcgriddle sandwich from McDs.  Don't worry I eat the mcgriddles in three courses; top, bottom, filling.

Lunch was a salami and muenster cheese sandwich.

Dinner was a hamburger patty, mixed green beans and carrots.
