I finally had something to eat. Just McDonald's, but still...

Are you growing a red nose and big clown feet?

How did you know? :o

Cereal
A salad roll.
Haven't had dinner yet but it will be almost the same as what Callaway had - pot roast with carrots, potato, sweet potato and green beans.

You WILL have leftovers, right? Please say yes.
That was the leftovers, I had it last night as well.

Aaaahh, poor CBC, you were a day too late.  :hahaha:

I ate a kind of pita bread-thing with Swedish meatballs, cucumbers, beets, purple cabbage, amazing sauce and rice inside.

It was fabulous!

I've never heard of such a combination, but it's so outlandish, it's genius!

Yes. You just mix 10 cows, 10 acres of tomatoes, some tons of onions, a barrel of olive oil and some kilos of spices, and then you have bolognese for a year.

Sounds easy enough! I should try it sometime!

It came from a Swedish/American restaurant.  I think that Pita bread, in one form or another,  is a standard from almost all early peoples' diet (before they had a life that could include ways to leaven and allow bread to rise. being on the run from viscious predators would prevent allowing bread to rise, I think). Being of supposed Swedish fare, I assume it would be obvious that they would only be able to eat of hardy vegetables, such as cabbage or beets, during winter.  I suspect that the rice is a modern bastardization of such things as boiled barley or steamed wheat grains to eat.

I do not really want to over-analize, however. It was wonderful and it is sitting well in my system, right now.
