I made a roast of ribs, my wife made fresh bread.

We bought fruit and corn (showing off, just a little - I want our meet-up to be memorable - not sure how much to do without overstimming him.)




Pies, meat, breads, wine.





(the man is quite like me, in that he takes a hell of a lot of overstimming and keeps an even keel, but he seems to know his limits.  I am not convinced whether or not he is actually autistic or not, but he gets very jumpy, just like me, and then shuts down, just like me and then comes alive again, just like me.)




I plan for good coffee being ready when he awakens. If he is truly like me- I plan to be ready for him to awaken - he will awaken in about two hours, fucking bouncing off the walls and he will appreciate some very strong coffee to calm himself.

I was overly ambitious to think that I could fit in another bike ride, today, even though we were both up about two hours before sun up , drinking coffee on the deck.

About an hour before sunrise, I was peeling potatoes and I let him start a fire in my grille. We made sausage, bacon, biscuits, fried potatoes, steamed onions and eggs all on the smoky grille. When My wife awoke to help get the kids off to school, she discovered that all the "hard work"  was done and she could just sit in the dark with us on the back deck and enjoy coffee for a bit.


I skipped lunch, but I had a hot dog for dinner.

Today, things are back to "norbal"


I made raisin/cinnamon oatmeal and toast with "Nutella" for the kids' breakfast, a ginormous pot of ranch beans for the adults (overnight) and no one seems to want anything to eat, including myself.

???

It is almost like the entire family does not want to feel anything new anymore or move past where we were over the week end.

Maybe some tea, enhanced from the garden for me, after a bit.
