A sandwich with ham, salami, Swiss cheese, pickle , lettuce, pepperocini, mustard and mayonaise.

BBQ ribs, BBQ beans, green salad with carrots and cucumbers
That sounds good.

Unfortunately it proved a theory that I have.  I can't tolerate ingesting smoked/burnt food.  My stomach is letting me know.  I'll have to stick to oven BBQ in the future.
Have you tried heartburn pills before hand?

Nope, just after this time.  I hadn't eaten BBQ made on the grill for years, so I wasn't sure if my recollection of distress from years ago had been overcome by avoidance, my imagination or what.  It's probably the charred part of the meat.  Anyway I think the activity of BBQing outdoors is highly over-rated unless done in sensible weather like winter.

Winter? I think they are perfect for summer, so you aren't cooped up in a hot kitchen and you can have a nice cold salad with it.

But then you are in the heat.  Our heat index at 10:15 tonight was over 100 degrees  It's 78 degrees inside with the A/C.  As they say in Real Estate, the 3 most important things are location, location and location.

I suppose it's just what you are used to. Summer here is about eating outdoors, and I hate bbq's in winter.

We have a subtropical climate here, so it get's fairly humid in summer and I don't have aircon in my home. So for me, cooking in the kitchen the stove itself generates heat in the general area.

Disneyland is cool. I like the Phantasmic show where Mickey fights the evil Witch.

Macaroni with a red sauce. Lots of tomatoes in it, two chillies from my garden, a paprika too, 4 cloves of garlic, and we ate it all. :D

Pity the old cheese had been eaten shortly before. But, the other cheese did the job reasonably well.

Got stuck with hot fingertips though.

Just a patty melt (ground beef patty with grilled onions and melted swiss cheese on rye bread) for brunch - got up at 11:30.  No idea yet for dinner.
