Roast beef, cabbage, okra, and sweet potatoes.

    I cooked beef this morning, and also has cabbage.  I had okra to, plus squash, and turnip greens.  Brown rice with pinto beans.  Pinto beans are high up on orac value (high antioxidant protection) along with the high of prunes and blue berries.  The mexican  bean or whatever was highest in the Tuff's university study.  I love sweet potatoes to. Wish I had one.   Sweet pototoes surpress metabolism.  Wild yams, not a sweet potatoe, are a source of steroidal hormone DHEA.  Potatoes have protease inhibitors, red potatoes don't.  High metabolism is only good for weightloss, and excellerated aging   Cabbage, high in vitamin u, also known has l glutamine, a precursor of a calmning neurotransmitter.  Its good for stomach ulcers to.  Sometimes you eat baised on preconscious nutritional need.
A rain man might need cabbage.  Cabbage high in antioxidants to, and is frequently part of supplements because of that, pills loose potassium, so you must eat some fresh.  Don't screw around with needs that aren't fully know, such as human's nutritional needs.  Arsenic helps plants reproduce!  it kills pests to!

antipasti, bascially - olives and feta and roasted peppers and dried tomatoes and anchovies and chargrilled aubergine and cannelli beans and crusty bread.  and a few kettle chips, but not that enamoured of the new flavour - cheese and chutney.   :-\

A burger and garlic fries from Red Robin.

Celebrating Amy's birthday.

everything else is just borrowed.

I ordered in a box of veggie egg rolls from a new restaurant in town.

They were fabulous!

I also learned something about choosing a soy sauce (a small bottle of which she offered) from the teen delivering her family's goods. Not really so much "learned"  as confirmed.
One of the points she made was that it takes more time to check the "expiration date" on soy sauce from a shelf than it does to compare whether or not it is sealed with a tamper-proof top or it has a cork that has not been touched.

Then she lit up my entire room with an incredible smile.

I bought the smallish four dollar bottle of her family's soy sauce to flavor the egg rolls her grandmother made!

OH, and I plan to scub up a bit and pay the establishment a visit in person, soon.
(NO, dumbass, because of the grandmother's cooking!)

I made a wicked awesome vegetable soup last night, before I fell out - left it to simmer past my nap.

Then, just before I left for work, I made/started some rye bread (sorry, Lucifer, I used the bread machine).

The soup is is delicious and the bread came out even better!

Unsliced bread, the best thing since sliced bread.

I tried Marmite for the first time today.  It's quite nice; tastes a bit like vegetable stock cubes.
