ooooooooh, i forgot to say - i had fish and chips!  it was v v nice indeed.  not as good as some i've had, especially the last time i had them in company...

I abraded and tore off a fairly substantial area of the membrane on the roof of my mouth while eating today, so it's sore and raw now.  I think it was the nuts that did it.
