COmfort food, grilled cheese sandwich and a glass of V8 juice.
yum!
i have no grill (or toaster, as it died the other day, along with my vacuum cleaner, washing machine and shower - me and electrics...), and i really miss toasted cheese sandwiches.
and as for cheese on toast...
If you have a skillet, you can make grilled cheese sandwiches on top of the stove. That is how I usually do it. Heat the skillet on the stove over medium to medium high heat. Lightly butter the bread on one side and put it buttered side down in the skillet, then top with a piece of cheese and another lightly buttered slice of bread, buttered side up. Cook it until the bread is nicely browned on the bottom, then flip it and cook until the other side is also nicely browned and the cheese is melted.
You can also make grilled cheese sandwiches with an iron, if you wrap the assembled sandwich in aluminum foil first.
I had a bean burrito.
i've done that, yes. but it's just not the same...
me wants a grill that works.
now, callaway, can i get a skillet to hoover my carpets, wash me, and clean my clothes, too?
