Half of a Publix sub.  The last half... it'll be 6 months or more before I can get another one.

My wife made monkey bread and left it for me to discover when I awoke for work. She knew I had gone to bed hungry and would awaken with a sweet tooth. What a doll!

Also came home for lunch and rattled up an old fashioned hotdog. I used to eat three or four, but one is enough, these days.

What's monkey bread?

My daughter and I made Hamburger Helper pasta.  I'm trying to teach her how to follow the steps, so one day she can do it by herself.

Monkey bread is awesome!  Sweet, cinnamony, sticky, hot... mmmm

Tonight we made chicken soup from scratch.  A whole chicken, carrots, celery, and scratch made noodles.  mmm.  ;)

No Publix is the greatest grocery store chain on the planet.  Unfortunately they're only in the south, I'm too far north to get it regularly.

Yes, that's the idea, but she also drizzles it with an orange flavored glaze made with confectioner's sugar and cream.

It's wonderful, Callaway. You should try it sometime.

It took me 8 hours to drive to my Mom's house for Thanksgiving.  That's only one state in between.  :)

You can eat Dandelions you know.  :)

Publix that brings back memories.  I found a Publix match book walking my dog last year in Connecticut.   My mom is one of those little old ladies who work there part time

Yeah, I'm sure they're tasty. I never really bought them as being weeds. They were always a little bit too cool for that.
