I had  a chicken and mushroom pot noodle earlier, with some worcestershire sauce tossed in before adding boiling water in addition to their provided packet of soy sauce, was nice. For a pot noodle anyway.

My old man is just cooking up a pot of chilli con carnage, upon which we shall both feast, with a long baton type loaf of crusty frog bread. I got the bread for him with his money when I went to the post office to try and redeem a premium bond, and finding that NSI don't fucking deal with the post office anymore since last year. Thats so fucking gay it defies belief. But I used the time to grab the bread for the chilli. Which is now ready to eat.  Ripped off a huge hunk of the bread whilst walking back to the car just after buying it, and started munching on that whilst I went about my other business.

  Earlier I had a very tasty (for frozen) spaghetti dinner.  Now ice cream (Haagen-Dazs Mayan Chocolate).  8)

Not yet, but PA will have popcorn shrimp, fried okra, white beans and rice, mustard greens.  I will substitute fried chicken livers for the shrimp.  The PR will have popcorn shrimp, mashed potatoes and a green salad.

We have cream cheese and caramel walnut danishes for dessert.

That sounds good - even the chicken livers, which i used to love. can't get them in our local stores.
i am snacking on wasabi seaweed with 'way too much wasabi.

there's an "International" market not far from me.  I went there once years ago and swore NEVER AGAIN.  Dusty shelves and packages, iced over frozen foods, etc. I probably should try them again for stuff I don't trust as being "authentic" at the grocery (e.g. curry) but I just can't make the nudge to go.

Curry with rice - the strange variant of it called "kima curry", which essentially translates to "curry curry", but it's what my mother called it. Basically it's comfort food that has little resemblance to Indian curry.
