My daughter got the arrival time off by a bit )we got to school WAY early!(, but she got all dressed up, wore some of my old costume jewelry (I used fancy loooking shit sometimes in my studio photography work) and is heading out to enjoy a school tour.

They (all the fourth graders in our district) are being presented with an early morning concert PRIZE by The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra.  ISO is truly a world class organization and her being able to experience a (free) concert at her age is really a GOOD THING!!

Yesterday I found out we have an election on April 30.  They're only using 3 poll commissioners this time because turnout will be atrociously low (tax renewals).

Today my pay check for the April 2 election came.

I have a new cool assignment at work.

I sat for a bit in the swirly breeze and cheery sun scritching the cat all over to help her get rid of her winter coat, which I am now wearing.

Finding some closure in the death of my great-aunt. She lived until she was 96 which is an amazing thing in itself. She passed away yesterday morning and it was a big struggle for me as we were very close. But today things are easier and I'm processing better. I have several relatives who are in their 90's. Longevity in the genes.

My sympathies on your loss.  She must have been a good person for you to have liked her so much.

I get my fiesty/witty side from her. She was one the funniest people I knew. It's sad to lose a generation though. She was my Grandpa's little sister. There were 7 siblings and now only 3 remain.
