Really? you act like you've done this before.  :evillaugh:

they better not do that to me.  :facepalm2:

Call and ask, your bank may be willing to do it. It's just a hunch that I have.

There are also machines in some places that will count loose change for you
and give you cash back, but they keep a small percentage in payment.   :orly:

The bank will ask you about how much is in the loose change.  Then they will deposit that amount into your checking/savings account.  After they close out for the day and verify the amount they will send you a debit or credit advice for the difference between your estimate and the actual count.  If you want to walk away with quarters in hand you'll have to withdraw it from your account that day.

No option.  No money in hand until they count it overnight.

I meant your suggestion plus the stuff I mentioned (rolling coins oneself, or funneling them into a machine).   :eiffel:

Last time I handed in money in change at a bank, I was a kid. The money counting machine fascinated me. within a minute, they would have the exact amount of what was in the piggy bank, and it looked great to see the coins go through the sorting machine. It was within sight of kids handing in their piggy banks.

Strange that now you would have to wait for the end of the day to know.

I've got years worth of loose change in containers around my room. I probably have enough for a house deposit :zombiefuck:

No bills here, just silver coins. I should get my ass into gear and count it all over the holidays. I gotta start being less blasee about my monetary leftovers. I can be careless with my money still living at home, but when I move out.... :-\

Yes, you will definitely need all the money you can get when you are on your own. I hope your coins turn out to be a small fortune.   :arrr:
