Car passed inspection.

More importantly, got my Federal Tax Refund! :headbang2: Wondering if I should take it to Vegas for the WSOP.

Tax refunds are way cool, if you ignore the fact (as I usually do)  that you have just offered your government a year-long, interest-free loan of your hard earned dollars.
:puke:

Mine this year was a little overboard, though. I need to re-do some shit with my W-(whatever the fuck it is) forms. They certainly do not need that much of my skin to live on!!

Hope yours came out as substantial!

I have like 7 exemptions just to get it down to only a few hundred dollars difference, but the Child Tax Credit adds $1,000 for each kid. I have three kids!!! :headbang2:

Living on disability feels good when it comes to taxes. I only pay local tax (about 20% of my income, which is quite low in Sweden) and I don't work for it anyway.  8)

Then, you can hardly add anything to this conversation, eh?

I always did too, when I was self employed.  It is only fair.

When you're self-employed don't you have to pay the blood-suckers quarterly?

Haha, blood-suckers. Be thankful that you don't live in Sweden. They eat small businessmen alive here, especially when it's a socialist government in charge.

Astrid Lindgren, who wrote the Pippi Longstocking books, got 110%(!) in tax once for honestly reporting to the tax authorities what she earned.

When she protested against this she was publically ridiculed in the parliament by the social "democrat" economy minister.  ::)

I only pay GST on goods and services. No other tax. If fact, the government throws money at us cos we have 5 kids, sometimes thousands at a time.
