You need to hang that curtain back up, Randy.

You don't want kids to see you naked.

My hair responded to a brush.

That may sound small, but during a low point of depression last month I buzzed my hair all off, down to skintight, with a trimmer. It's growing back nicely.

I watched someone reverse their brand new Mini Coupee into a brick wall. He didn't seem happy about it.

went to the opticians to have my eyes tested, and found out that my eye problems (shortsightedness, a stigmatism and now i have floaters, too, which means a detaching vitreous humour - an age thing, same as the O Man's) are now classed as "complex", so i got the eye test free, and a wodge off my new glasses.  i am a v pleased bunny.

not so pleased that they didn't have a dispensing optician on today, so i have to wait to find out whether they can fit prescription lenses into my lorgnettes.  sigh...

We should form a club. You're lucky you don't get the spots that stick to one place.

not sure about that: over here, a "floater" generally means a dead body (drowned), or a turd which won't flush away.

I'm aware of that. You have to agree that the first option makes for an exciting contest.

true.  but statistically, i reckon we're more likely to get involved with the second, which is a lot less fun.   :-\

I turned 45 today. I feel pretty good about that. Also about the Kung Pao and Rolling Rock I just said, and the catfish, hushpuppies and fried okra with ice tea and pecan pie I plan to have later.  :)
