No it coincided with the corporates retirement party for my wife's friend.  It was at nice place on the water with live jazz music good food so that made up for it

marked several really fab folders - first class honours marks - and was very pleasantly surprised by how one of my less brilliant student's writing has improved by leaps and bounds.

Solved a big problem with the system we're delivering to a client, the one I have to travel across half the country to talk about.

OTOH, I discovered a potentially bigger problem, one that we can't solve now.
