started on my garden this year. i pruned the roses, cleared out all the old dead chilli plants from the greenhouse, and planted this year's fruit and veg seeds (cucumber, melon, varieties of lettuce salad leaves; peppers, beetrrot, spinach, parsely) and annuals (calendula, marigolds, sunflowers, night-scented stock, poppies).
funny how all the annuals are yellows, oranges and reds (except the stock). all the purples, blues, white and pink flowers are my perennials/herbs/wildflowers. there are already some beautiful windflowers, primroses, primulae and crocuses in various shades of yellow, purple and white, and the rosemary's and forget-me-not's blue flowers are pretty well advanced. weird - bloody global warming.
