QC, even before we had elections for admins we had votes for stuff. the site has always been shaped by its members, just in a less formal and deeply tedious manner. that isn't going to change. no need to leave.

Actually, the vote suggested that there would be
NO further elections for admins. I found this odd
as hell, but that's what won.

You should try and give the folks what they actually
wanted - a despotism.
