This is especially true in the navy. :orly:

I was involved in one Navy project, incidentally involving subs.

good subs are very undervalued  :orly:

Bad subs are no fun. They sink.
:agreed: That little experiment with screen doors on Italy's sub squadron was a big mistake.  :zoinks:

I have often heard the expression "As useful as screen doors on a submarine. Please tell me there was no real basis in this????  :'(
I2 today is not i2 of yesteryear. It is a knitting circle. Those that participate be they nice or asshats know their place and the price to be there. Odeon is the overlord

.Benevolent if you toe the line.

Think it is I2 of old? Even Odeon is not so delusional as to think otherwise. He may on occasionally pretend otherwise but his base is that knitting circle.

Censoring/banning/restricting/moderating myself, Calanadale & Scrapheap were all not his finest moments.

One of my favorite TV scenes came from Garrison's Gorillas, a 1970's (?) show.  The team is being sent on a mission via a submarine.  The sub is depth charged and one of the guys pulls a gun.  "What do you think you're going to do with that?"

With your ocular migraines  is the pain sharp or dull and constant?  I have been getting more headaches lately that have stayed more in the eyes than in the past without the hard sharp throbbing pain but a dull lingering pain and blurry vision which makes me nauseous.  Any thoughts?

I frequently have no headaches with the ocular migraine. The more migrainy version is sharpish and constant, and usually focussed on one side.

I'd say you have a more typical migraine. Do you know in advance when it will hit, and if so, have you tried any of the available preventive meds?

Have you changed something in your diet recently? Red wine, cheese, chocolate, etc? And also, have you checked your vision lately? Stress can trigger migraines, but so can the wrong eyeglasses (or no eyeglasses).

My migraines tend to be periodical in nature. There will not be one but several attacks within a week or ten days.

I have been having traditional migraines with aura since I was 12 but they have become more infrequent since I was about 30.  The ones I have had more recently are more aura than headache but for hours on end disrupting my vision with none of the very sharp pain that used to go with my headaches.  As for meds I never found any that helped and I tried a bunch.  I have been under a bit of stress and expected to be getting headaches just these are different

I think you might want to see a doctor since you have been suffering from migraines for tears and these are different. My bet is still a migraine, though, but I'm not an expert.

What about your eyesight? Have you checked it lately?

I am supposed to be getting my eyes checked but a lot of stuff has been going on lately but things should settle down some now
