Yeah, I'm still having that happen, just trying to ignore it and click through the dialog, but it really doesn't seem like there's anything else that could be done about it server-side.

Probably not. My son would definitely be exempted because of his autism dx. My daughter doesn't want to, and from what I've heard they won't be able to draft everyone anyway so there is a good chance that she doesn't have to.

The correct perspective is, still can own a gun. The federal register rule referenced was an executive order finalized in the last month of Obama's term, and both branches of congress approved to send it to Trump for review. Compliance was to begin December 2018 so the rule was rescinded before ever being enforced. The ACLU apposes the rule for stereotyping people on disability as violent when there's no supporting data to base assumptions they are; in fact data shows the opposite to be true and disabled people are more likely to be victims of violence. The rule directly targeted mentally disabled people who require legal guardianship, so would have to assume the guardian is the responsible and accountable party, similar to circumstances of minors using/owning guns.
