You'll have to teach me that trick sometime... I tried to hypnotise a roommate once, back when I was at school, and only managed to put him to sleep. We didn't have a candle or a pocket-watch or anything, so I just got him to gaze into the reflection on the lightbulb (switched off!) in the ceiling, and yeah I'll blame that lack of resources for my failure.

I mean that he had comical animated Z's emanating from his head. The hypnotism failed regardless.
