I can taste and feel words, always have.

I can also become quite focused on someone if I notice a particular word they use a lot in their speech.  Sensational is one that comes to mind immediately.

yes!  i end up making tally charts of those words, especially in meetings.  and then i forget i'm supposed to make up a plausible sounding excuse when whoever it is asks me what i'm doing.  oh well - i'm generally in trouble, so i should be used to it.
