Intensity, by not disallowing rude and cruel behavior, causes peoples lack of such behavior to shine and shows that that behavior is totally of ones own volition.  On sites that can ban on the basis of cruel and rude behavior, it may cause totally evil people to merely pretend they aren't monsters.

I'm doing good.  I got beer, I got candy.  I illegally aquired my 5th of tequilla, and on the basis of 1 swig I had last night, I can tell my alcohol tolerance has totally atrophied from non-usage, so tomorrow, I should have no trouble getting blitzed.  I have also aquired mountain dew, and antiacids, ensuring that I will stay awake during the blitzeddom.

I also got sword in the stone, that crappy disney animation that portrayed merlin as silly and absentminded and such.  I like that interpretation of merlin.  I hate all the incarnations of merlin where he is brooding and nasty and aloof.

I rather suspect all the drinking age does is keep liquor out of the hands of people too stupid or lazy to aquire it illegally, and put money in a lot of law enforcement agent's hands.
