I found this article quite interesting, I have been hearing puberty is starting earlier on average in kids than it was say a generation or two ago.

So you blame manufactured food for premature puberty? Please elaborate.

And organic stuff is usually too expensive to the consumer, from what I've heard, so they'll shop at one place where it's convenient and cheap. Namely a supermarket like Asda.

My daughter started to get hair "down there" at six and she drank soy milk.

She had all sorts of tests and it was not precocious puberty though, just premature pubarche. 

The little girl in Teejay's story had thyroid problems and that was what caused her precocious puberty.

I had a mild case of it. I started to bud when I was nine and got vaginal discharge, then hair started down there when I was ten and I started body odor in my arm pits and I got more body hair. I got a woman's body at age 12 and it was embarrassing.

soy milk, in fact any soy product, can be dodgy, callaway - it's got plant oestrogens in it (or is it progesterone?  or both - sorry - i forget).  and it makes you fart like a hurricane.

but, as you say, there are many other causes.  i was just getting on my usual  :soapbox:

I didn't start getting pubic hair until I was about 12, and then it took a long time to go from peach fuzz to proper pubes.
