Goddamn. I was thinking almost exactly the same thing. Only I don't think its really a fantasy of his to "be with" cuddy. He just likes her round ass and is a little turned on by her ability to tell him to fuck off. But other than that I made the exact same prediction. 

I do legitimately think he's in love with her when he's in an optiate-induced psychosis... but then again, isn't that kinda what love is in the first place?

And, the entirety of my prediction, or just some of the points?  I'm curious now.

(I'd assume that it would be impossible for House to be psychotic and still work as a doctor, so I'd assume he'd detox fully while in the nuthouse.) 

In my experience, that is mostly what nuthouses are for - detoxing.

And for med-management.  Not sure how it is elsewhere, but in the states, hospital stays nowadays are generally really brief; so brief that I wonder how the fuck they can possibly be therapeutic.  They seem to act mainly as a sort of maximum-security respite.  :/

I agree about the whole sperm thing. If Chase loves her, then he should have been able to accept her keeping her dead husband's sperm. It's not like it was some she saved from a boyfriend in her freezer.

It's also not like there was much to feel threatened by- I doubt she was gonna hook back up with her dead husband, seeing as he's dead, and all.

How I'd define lying is situation-specific, as is how I'd react to it.

However that last sentence is spoken like someone who's been accused of lying, and is still feeling the sting.
