Of course, that's so true isn't it. There was a time when it was nice to know that Africans were suffering for our commodities. But now it just seems they may have acclimatised to that pain somewhat. Its no fun anymore. Can't really wear diamonds with pride, glistening in the sunlight, knowing they were harvested off the back of severe human misery now can we? Its a shame really. Damn it!!! Where's my Coke and Nestle chocolate!!  >:D :P

Wearing red to support freedom or democracy just feels weird. I'm dating myself.

I'm not sure how strong of a red I actually have. Wearing it may not help much. I'll go with the GHW Bush plan. Sanctions against them! That'll teach'em!

nestlé are corporate cunts who (as one example) cause the deaths of hundreds, possibly thousands, of babies in the developing world, by promoting their powdered milk formula over breast feeding.  this is a disaster is three ways:

1)  there's no clean water supply to make up the milk, so the babies get cholera, typhoid, diphtheria, whatever's going;
2)  it's only free for a short time, so the families, already utterly impoverished, have to find money which should be feeding the whole family, to pay for the formula, cos the mother's milk has dried up by then:
3) the babies don't get the protection of the antibodies from breast milk, so they're more susceptible to any infections.
