When is your birthday, and what would your ideal gift be?

I'm a pisces.  I don't really like gifts in one way...when they are all wrapped up they look so nice, but it's the pressure of hiding disappointment if you don't get what you expected!  Even though, I only remember getting a couple of disappointing gifts, this seems to freak me out a bit.  I'd almost prefer not getting them, than the pressure of opening them, if that makes sense.

I don't have any expectations on an ideal gift.  Something like a weekend away being spoiled would be nice with friends or my family.
But my second choice would be music or a book on art or cooking.

If there was a cure for our condition, would you want your AS to be cured?
At this precise moment.  No.
But when I get overwhelmed with not being able to express my self. Yes.  I hate that feeling and I hate sensory overload because the same thing can happen - I just shut down.  BUT, in saying that, I have had a reasonably happy life, despite AS, so that's better than 70% of most people I think.

When do you get a sensory overload and what causes it? How often do you get it too and what to do you as you shut down?

Constant loud noise or repetitive noise makes me uneasy.  Extremely good sex can send me into a fucking terrible sensory overload.  Going to places where I can't control when I can leave, like shopping.  People being over emotional is just too much for me to compute and I shut down also.

If you particularly wanted one.  But it's usually people who piss me off.
