How to opt out of the Karma System
« on: April 11, 2007, 10:07:10 AM »
PMS Elle figured out a way to reset the karma of an individual member to zero and keep it there.

If you would like to opt out of the karma system and you want to have permanent zero karma, please PM an administrator and we will make the necessary modifications to your account.  Unfortunately, these modifications work only for zero karma, so we cannot freeze your karma at any other number.
But we can't be free, until we learn to laugh at ourselves. Once you look in the mirror and see just how foolish we can be, laughter is inevitable. And from laughter comes wisdom. ~Andreas Katsulas

Anyone getting angsty over some trivial system needs to get their head examined. Seriously.

Your certainly right.  And I'm living proof!  Oh well, starting Friday we'll be on a vacation, see how I feel when I get back!

Sorry, Ozy. You're one of the good guys here, and I apologise if my statement offended you so.

No you didn't offend me, in fact I agree with you.  It's just that last night I asked Callaway to do just that and after my rants about how I didn't care about the karma system in the past, it sort of made me look hypocritical!  In retrospect!

Thanks BTW.

it has been put to a vote, twice, and voted in, twice.

now we have discovered a backdoor to care for the individuals choice.

not too shabby.
Why are you such a stupid asshole?
Would you really like to know?
Well pay your fee remove your clothes and Yvette will show you how
You went to school where you were taught to fear and to obey, be cheerful, fit in, or someone might think you're weird
Life can be perfect
People can be trusted
Someday, I will fall in love; a nice quiet home of my very own
Free from all the pain
Happy and having fun all the time
It never happened, did it?

Well, now we have another choice.  Don't like it....we have the PMS Elle system (or insert another name for it).  Like it......don't change it!

Done.  Maybe someone is jealous of you?

Well this sucks. How am I supposed to make everyone even now?
George:I'd say I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I'm not. I excel at not giving a shit. Experience has taught me that interest begets expectation, and expectation beget disappointment, so the key to avoiding disappointment is to avoid interest. A equals B equals C Equals A, or whatever. I also don't have a lot of interest in being a good person or a bad person. From what I can tell, either way, you're screwed. Bad people are punished by society's laws, and good people are punished by Murphy's Law
