England is part of the UK, like Arizona is part of the US. The UK is formally a union between England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. To be very precise, there is also a small town called Berwick-upon-Tweed that is actually a small "country" of its on in the UK, or used to be, on the English-Scottish border.

They probably did. It was also a way to exclude the D.C. from Federal legislation. They used that to ban guns from D.C. for a long time, as we debated some weeks ago.

Slavic peoples have always had a reputation for being brutal and criminal in Europe. But then again, they've always almost been poor and had some kind of dictator ruling over them. In Albania they still have the blood feud tradition. That was banned in Sweden about 7-800 years ago.
