Never buy manicure scissors if they are packaged in such a way that the blades are hidden! I got these home and it turns out the blades have rounded tips, which make them safer to carry loose in a purse, but fairly useless at actually cutting nails.  :duh: :duh: :duh:

They are ours sometimes five seems too many though. The cactus was an almost spineless version developed for cattle food that grow all over in Florida where I grew up so I think it was safe they had nibbled on it for awhile .   My brother gave it to me from his last trip to see our mom it reminded me of being a kid we always had them growing around.  I might be able to save it from the small pieces left and the roots
