The 13th Floor Elevators - Earthquake ( Easter Everywhere release)


--Also, a freind of mine in Maine had a band from 1986 to 1989 called The Gorehounds. They sounded like a punked up version of The 13th Floor Elevators replete with Vox Organ and The Jug. They had two releases, The Voodoo Priest / Necrosis 7" (Released Oct '1986)  and their LP, Halloween Everywhere released in spring/summer 1987. Both can be downloaded here:

This is classic New England style 60's Garage Punk revival music, as this was a burgeoning scene in the late 80's in the Northeastern US.

Peter Laughner - Dear Richard  From the Album Take The Guitar Player For A Ride ,Peter Laughner and Freinds (Sounds like this could possibly be pre- Rocket From The Tombs/Pere Ubu, though some of the freinds involved on this sound like they could be Cheetah Chrome and Stiv Bators)
