So you have your own computers but share the Internet connection through a router?
That's it exactly.
My computer desk is sorta neat while GA's can get quite disgusting. I've thrown some of his stuff out from his desk and he hasn't noticed that I've done it. ;D

Is that a wife thing or something? My wife tried it when we'd just moved together.

I think it's a female thing in general. They like throwing things away. I don't know why, but they do.

didn't she put a framed picture of HER, on your desk?

I did. I may be autistic, but I'm not stupid. :P

Good move. I did the same but went overboard ... My desk faces the wall, which I hate, so I made a collage, her portrait (exceptionally well executed by myself), her and her son, her and her daughter, each child individually, one of both children together, one of all of us together. It helps me keep my "eye on the ball".

Bereft of hope, as the torment of darkness shadows what dust has endured of my bones, certitude weeps a forlorn lament for relief from the grit ground into the remains of my needs.

Now he will read about it here and find out.   ;)
Well, he hasn't read it so far....

I just can't handle clutter. It gives me too much too look at. I get overwhelmed visually quite often and I hate it. I don't think too much of myself when I have to take a nap after a few hours of shopping! :violin:

Well, I suggest that you change his screen saver to a wedding picture.   :)

They're newlyweds, but later it's simple survival strategy. ;)

I am really not the romantic sort. A wedding picture as GA's screen saver would make me want to quickly change it back to pipes or something...

Of course pipes are cool too, Renaeden.  Both my husband's and my screensaver is a picture of our daughter standing in front of a hedge maze with a Mona Lisa smile on her face, holding a can of Sprite.

Ah, I think having photos of your kids and family on there is somehow different. I can't explain it.

I have pipes as my screensaver right now.

I don't know how to say this, but I... I think I may be falling for you.  I think about you all the time.  Last night I had an erotic dream about you.  To read about it in more detail, please Go here.

I don't even dare ask the obvious question...
dont we ALL do whatever pmselle tells us to?
it is well known that PMS Elle is evil.
Scratch that, it's been contaminated.

^That freaked me out.

-----------------

I haven't been online for a while because GalileoAce's computer snuffed it and he has been using mine almost continuously since that happened. He is saving up to buy a new computer now.
I have been working too many hours (over 40 in four days) and I had a meltdown over it. A nice spectacular one. The sort that people come from all around to watch. :-[
I wanted to quit the job (I pack pies, it is not that important) and the boss negotiated with me that I now only have to work three days per week.
It seems that the older I get, the more intolerable of everyone and everything I get.

So if anyone was wondering, is wondering, or will be wondering, I haven't given up visiting Intensity.
I can't wait until GA gets his new computer...

I'm sorry that you have pushed yourself too hard. Most of us have been there. I like your description ... "people come from all around", is hilarious. Good luck with the new arrangement.
