A lot of people have childhood trauma issues and people pleasing is one of them. I used to people please but then I realized I needed to learn how to love myself. Once I figured that out I never people pleased again

I don't mind being a people pleaser, but then again I don't really know that many people.  :lol1:

Apparently throughout my life, I knew too many people.... didn't matter if they were in the Windy City, Pakistan, or even KC itself. There's always a connection with my family somewhere.

I tried being a people pleaser as well... and it didn't get me anywhere

I'll people please if it pleases me, so in a way I'm putting myself first. I used to be very anxious about pleasing other people but over time that has reduced.

I usually don't like putting myself first :(

Other times, I am reminded that I need to do so if someone and/or something is making me rather uncomfortable.

^ I didn't finish Programming at college, so I sort of know where you're coming from.

What did you study there?

Two very different subjects. Political Science would have been over my head.

Two very different subjects. Political Science would have been over my head.

Oil Painting was something that helped me process what I saw in front of me or what was in my head...

Political Science has components to Politics and History in it, doesn't matter if it happened to be international, or classes like American Civilization which has some key points to International Perspectives.

My writing has been shaped a little bit from what I can recall with Art, and Politics... only in my first novel it's autistic politics.
