  I could have sworn I'd posted something like this before, but the search engine yields nothing. 
 
  So, once again ...

  Here's my information.

  Father's side:  Austrian with a little Polish.

  Mother's side:  Irish, English, possibly some Native American.

  I'm more Austrian than anything else.  About 3/8 Austrian, 1/8 Polish,
  2/8 (1/4) Irish, 1/8 English, 1/8 either  "more-Irish" or  "who knows?"

mother and father both had fathers who were 1/2 white and 1/2 native american (one was french and the other scotch), making both parents 1/4 native american.
mother's mother's grandfather was swedish.
father's mother was likely mostly african - unknown.

that makes me a mutt.

I only know of a few generations.

Dads side, completely Scottish.  No non Scots. Very ethnically pure

Mums side, Scottish on one half. A mix of Irish, English, and Scottish on the other.

I am thoroughly boringly germanic when it comes to my roots. There may be a bit of German in it, but even then from the Lower German language zone. So it is all the same.
From the side of my mother I stem from Groningen, and I inherited the hipdysplasia traits that come with that. My father came from Drenthe, and there may be some German right over the border influences there, but if there are, it is generations back.

I now live on the bottom of a former sea. From my father's side there were a lot of sailors. Many vessels wrecked here where I live. So living away from where I was born, I may still be walking on the crushed bones of my forefathers.

  Have you ever thought about getting a DNA ethnicity test?  I am.  I've seen pictures of my
  mother's father's mother and she definitely looks too dark to have been all Irish as they claimed.

Surprisingly no. I'm blonde, and both parents kinda brunette.

Did some genealogy last century.  From what I can remember, I'm 50% Irish, the rest is 50/50 French and German.  My great grandmother came from Poland, but her family was resettled German.  My father's side had someone do the genealogy back to the 1400's, but........  I can't access the computer file anymore, probably because it's in an old programming language.

Very strong rumours have it that I have a half-brother in either Germany or near Bastogne.  Sleeping dogs should remain sleeping.

Dad's side: Mostly Irish, might have been some English mixed in there somewhere.

Mom's side: Hungarian and a little unknown.

Half German, one quarter American Indian, one eighth Irish, one eighth Italian. The Indian came screaming to the surface so am usually assumed as Hispanic.

Native American on both side, card carrying the on my dads. English, Irish,  African. My moms is Mexican with Spanish Native, Chinese, French,Arabian.
