What movie are you avoiding seeing, and why?

I've been avoiding The Purge: Election Year, because I want to wait until we all feel like watching it together.

The Martian. If your spaceship makes sounds in the vacuum of space, and the atmosphere of your version of Mars is dense enough to throw large objects hard enough to puncture a spacesuit, then your claim to be marketing a scientifically realistic film is dubious at best.

But the film is actually quite good.

And that's why I'm probably going to end up seeing it at some point.

The books are way better. I was especially disappointed with the last movie because the ending was nothing like the book at all.
