So basically...
Yes. Basically. I'm not the one who's emotional about it, but half of America is. You might have noticed. Maybe not...
Do you actually understand, or are you now TOTALLY occupied by being as anarcho-badass as possible? Cus you're not fooling anybody.
When an entire population gets emotional, that is when wars begin (I bet this baffles you)
Sociopolitical = "emotional-people-political"
See? You learn something new every day.
Oh, and stay away from anecdotal evidence, that is honest advice I'm giving you.
That's a stupid reason to do anything because feelings. My god. Because your feels count more than the guys in the videos I posted. Let's ban water drinking because plankton gets murdered innocent plankton! It hurts my feeeeeeliiiiiiiiiings.
It is stupid, sure.
I can look at a nazi flag, and not flip my lid, you're right.
Some can't, and here is the problem: If those people who can't deal with it, are willing to start a civil war over it - what do we prefer most? To laugh at emotional people, or to avoid civil war?
I know I've exaggerated the example a bit here, but look at what's happening in the news - because of feelings. Feelings matter. Feelings cause economic crashes, because the stock market is
directly connected to feelings.
Feelings are important to human psyche, and political stability, it's not just about babies crying, but about maintaining a functioning society.
I would also like you to provide a comparison between people protesting about plankton, versus people protesting the confederate flag, and the cost, so far, of the anti-water protests you are refering to. What, nobody protests water because of plankton? Well now... just so happens a lot of people ARE protesting the confederate flag - making it relevant - and in the long run - costly.
I am saying - many people's feelings are hurt by it - and those people are numerous enough to destabilize your society.

If you cannot understand those words, you probably should just quit.
So, do you at least
understand it - in theory?
