In about 90 minutes I will be watching some of the Cotton Bowl.  (College American Football between Louisiana State University and Texas Agricultural & Mining, aka Texas A&M).

Thank you for the correction.  I knew that, my brain took a brief vacation.  All the A&Ms came about from "Morrill Land-Grant College Act of July 2, 1862, which provided for the donation of public lands in a quantity equal to 30,000 acres for each senator and representative in Congress to a state for the establishment of at least one college "where the leading object shall be, without excluding other scientific and classical studies and including military tactics, to teach such branches of learning as are related to agriculture and the mechanic arts."" - Wikipedia.

I went to a couple of these land grant colleges, Auburn University and Louisiana State University and Agricultural and Mechanical College.
