So anyway, the userbase of youtube appears to be very upset about this.

Well, they actually removed the 500 character limit on youtube this time (I think for compatibility reasons). That's 10x more worth than actually using youtube for uploading videos, other than with fake accounts. So sad that they force you to use them.

Well the thing is, i'm not much of a youtube content creator so I honestly don't experience that much of a difference. There does seem to be an atomic explosion of anger about this from youtubes userbase though, which brings a question to my mind.

Why would they force their customers to be exposed to features they don't like? Seems like a bad business decision to me.
