Grey day here.. with here and there a 'toefke' of rain (=not much). Temp.'s about 15°C (59°F).

Windy here today, with gusts up to 65 mph.

Here's something funny.  When they were having the debate here, the winds got up to 35 mph and the reporters, who were probably from the east coast, thought they needed to run for cover.  They must not be very used to wind at all.  35 mph is no big deal here. 

At 65 mph, you need to keep both hands on the steering wheel especially if you are driving a tall vehicle so if a big gust hits you, you don't get pushed into another lane.  The wind we had that knocked down a section of our wooden privacy fence was over 100 mph.

There are clouds about but the sun is also shining. The temperature is 22°C at the moment. Which is exceptionally warm for this time of year (at my whereabouts).
