Too sodding hot. Got the windows open in my room and the AC cooler unit on full blast. Might fill it with ice, come to think of it.

It is the kind of weather that makes me touchy,  and irritable.  Hot but not sunny.  A recipe for a bloodbath.  I wonder if more people get murdered in weather like this?

Sunny, but windy and quite cool.

Really fucking hot. It's already 34*C (93*F) with the humidex and it's only 8:30am. It supposed to reach 46*C by the middle of the day (115*F)

Hot and disgustingly humid!  Working in the kitchen all day feels like sloshing around
in a big warm bath.  I really hate summer.  Fall can't come too soon for me.

Yes, this will break a record if it hits, but we've had heat waves like this before. Global warming has a lot to do with it. Our winters are not as long, nor as brutal as they used to be. Less snow and we didn't even get any big blizzards last year.

With a hawt young lady like miss K around, is it any real shock? ^_^ :P

Careful! Go around saying things like that, with me being the cause of the heatwave and you're likely to get me shot!  :lol1:

Ja, things, concerning the weather, have changed/are changing a bit here also. Hard to draw a final conclusion though. Wetter and warmer, yes.. but last Winter, e.g., was quite quite cold again in Holland. Let's say, old fashion style.

Global warming or the changing of the weather is a fact, I reckon.. or or the change is a constant.. albeit the 'changing' differs from area to area of course. Um, BBC news, this morning, had a topic about the rainfall in GB in June. Cannot recall the exact mms but June last/'12 was the wettest since 1860.

But hey.. at least now we know what is causing this global warming thing.  :P

It makes me feel uncomfortable for lack of a better word, to see the world off balance. I think it's because I start to think of how that affects the animal population, the vegetation etc. Plus, I like my blizzard filled winters. I miss those.

Not if I have anything to do with it. I'd be perfectly happy to whip my nunchaku, ninja-to, dart rifle, or gas pistol out and take anyone trying that apart, piece, by, fucking, piece.

Here in England's green and pleasant land it feels colder.  Winters seem colder,  summer seems colder.  In fact,  instead of four seasons we really should just say we have one...it's called  'grey' :grrr:

Oh, it could be worse. You could have -20oC and two meters of snow in January.
