Rain has it's good points renaeden, but if it keeps up the way it has been, or gets worse, then we'll be experiencing floods and landslides. I guess wherever you live you pick your poison earthquakes, floods, slides, large fires etc. It'll be another month or longer till we get 28C.

What part of Australia are you in renaeden? I live north of San Francisco 24 miles ( 38.4 km ) in Vallejo California. We get a pretty fair amount of quakes, floods and slides.

Still more rain, only this time it's VERY HEAVY RAIN and possible thunderstorms later. There should be enough rain by now to calm the nervous nellie's concerns about drought. I always look on the hill sides for new rotational slumps, these are the type of landslide that is common where I live and the ground is saturated by now. A few years ago a section of Highway 80 near me had to be rebuilt because the hillside came down on it and squeezed the supporting dirt out from underneath it collapsing a couple of lanes into uselessness. I am wondering when the first reports of flooding will come out of Napa and Vacaville. Wednesday and Thursday are supposedly going to be sunny with light overcast, at this point I will believe it when it happens.

I live south of Perth. Nothing really happens here except a few months with no rain. Have only ever felt one teeny tiny earthquake. No floods, no landslides, no snow...

Supposed to be 30C tomorrow and sunny.
